Server Rules

The core rules that apply to every player on every WizzRust server, in-game and beyond.

• Cheating or exploiting will result in a ban.
• Disrespect towards staff members will not be tolerated.
• English only in global chat. Use team chat for other languages.
• Spamming in-game or in Discord will result in a mute.
• Bypassing blacklisted words or baiting will result in a punishment.
• Advertising or self-promotion will not be tolerated.
• Punishment evasion will result in an IP ban.
• Extreme toxicity or harassment will result in a ban.
• Constantly calling out players will result in a mute.
• Sexual or violent content will not be tolerated.
• Sexist, racist or homophobic language will not be tolerated.
• Fabrication of evidence will result in a ban.
• No DDOS or DOX. Doing so will result in a ban.
• Sharing malicious content will result in a ban.
• Promotion of cheats will result in a ban.
• Stream sniping will result in a ban.
• Constantly targeting or harassing players will result in a ban. This is a noob friendly server, so help them out.
• Griefing is allowed and admins will not remove it.
• Autoclickers are not allowed (against Facepunch TOS).
• Inappropriate sign images (racism, gore, harassment) are not allowed. Nudity is only allowed inside your own base.
• Walling off monuments is not allowed. Caves, swamps and underground tunnel entrances are excluded.
• Main bases, turrets, high external walls and TC pods that block quarries are not allowed. Defensive bases and towers are allowed.
• Excessive base lights that cause lag will be removed without warning.
• Non-defender SAM sites within 2 grids of a safe zone will be removed without warning.
• SAM sites within 2 grids of an abandoned military base will be removed.
• Impersonating staff will result in an instant kick.
• A game-banned alt under 365 days is banned until it is over 365 days.
• More than one game-banned alt will result in a permanent ban.
• A VAC or game ban on another game under 60 days results in an automatic kick.
• 3 or more VAC or game bans result in an automatic kick.

There is no rust-hour limit, but mass raiding or trying to kill the server population will result in a temporary punishment. What counts, what does not, and the raiding limits are below.

• Any raiding tool counts, including battering rams, ballistas and flame raiding.
• Raiding external TCs or farm bases near the target is allowed and does not count as an extra raid.

• Eco raiding does not count.
• Destroying turrets or SAM sites with high velocity or incendiary rockets does not count.
• Decayed bases do not count.
• Countering a raid on a raid base does not count. Taking over the raid does count.
• Raiding a raid base outside your own base and raiding a griefed base do not count.
• Raiding boats and shelters does not count.

Play within your server team limit. The following counts as teaming and is punished on an escalating scale.

• No going over your server team limit.
• No roaming, killing, raiding, defending or farming with other teams.
• Only counter raids if you are willing to kill both the defenders and the raiders.
• Allies are forbidden.
• Trade in safe zones or at shop fronts.
• No players from another group in your base.
• Giving away bases is allowed, but you must remove all bags, TC auth, codes and bodies.
• Giving another team boom is teaming. It must be a fair, equal trade.
• Giving away base locations is allowed only in public chat.
• Calling other teams to assist a raid defence is teaming.
• Removed clan members must have their bags, TC auth, codes and body removed.
• Once someone leaves your team they cannot rejoin until wipe.
• Building close to defend together is teaming.
• No building in the same area as Discord or Steam friends. Build a few grids away and stay neutral.
• No more than one team inside or connected to a compound.
• No sharing entities with players outside your team, including turrets, code locks and TCs.
• Hotels are allowed if you open a ticket.
• Account sharing or playing on more than one account is teaming.

• Chargebacks will result in a permanent ban without warning.
• Rules may change at any time. It is your responsibility to keep up to date.
• All rules apply in Discord text and voice channels.
• Staff may alter given punishments.
• A violation of the Discord Guidelines or FacePunch TOS is punishable depending on severity.
